  • Thanks to all who could make it to the cca show!

I think my senior show at cca was a great success! Thanks to all of you who could make it. There was a lot of excitement in the air because of the election, and the city was just buzzing after 9:30 when Obama won! Oakland was even more of party with a chorus of car horns and exclamations and fireworks. I have never seen so many people so happy and patriotic. Strangers hugged each other and people waved and honked from there cars. It was total brotherly love time. The Bay Area was cluster of positive energy.

Anyway I was ecstatic and it was a wonderful night.

The show looked nice and people came and cheese was served.

Updates soon on when the show will be in January!

  • Senior Show Happening November 4th!

My senior exhibition reception will be taking place Tuesday, November 4th from 5:30 to 7:30! It's election day so vote up and show up.

    California College of the Arts
    1111 Eighth St
    San Francisco, CA

in the Bruce Gallery West A.

The show will be up from Monday the 3rd through Saturday the 8th.

Three of my painting colleagues have shows in galleries next to mine. That also means there will be four tables of gallery food.

I'm really excited to have Michael Wong, Kristina Grindle and Chris Barton as neighboring exhibitors.

Mike does oil landscapes with a political undertone, Kristina makes works on paper with pencil and ink that are portraits with an inkblot thing going on, and Chris makes mostly pencil drawings of objects that border on abstraction.

It's going to be a giant party of painting/drawing talent.
